i just realized that inflation in Singapore is caused by a few
factors
1) export lower than import is one reason
2) Profit oriented govt service providers . In order to remain
profitable to shareholders these entities keep raising
prices, like electricity tariffs and transport. When people try to
save paying on these charges, profitability curve remains the same
or drop, this in turn gives rise to another round of price
increases after some point of time
